API Overview

IMS APIs include native OpenStack APIs and extension APIs.

A combination of these two types of APIs allows you to use all functions provided by IMS. For example, you can use either native OpenStack APIs or extension APIs to create private images.

An image schema provides details about image attributes, such as included attributes and attribute values. With an image schema, you can understand basic information about an image.
