Configuring CC Attack Protection Rules

  • WAF limits access to your site from a single web visitor based on the IP address or cookie value, thereby blocking CC attacks. If the threshold is exceeded, the system enables human-machine identification or blocks access. You can customize the block content and page.

  • With CC attack protection rules, rate limiting policies are set based on IP addresses or cookies to accurately identify and mitigate CC attacks.

  • This section describes you how to configure the CC attack protection rules.

Step 1: Open the Page for Adding a CC Attack Protection Rule

1. Log in to the management console. Choose Security & Compliance > Web Application Firewall.
2.  In the navigation pane, choose Domains. In the Operation column of the row containing the target domain name, click the number to go to the Policies page. 
3. In the CC Attack Protection configuration area, Ensure that the status of CC attack protection is enabled.

Choose Web Application Firewall.

Apply for a VPC.

Click Configure Policy.

Apply for an ECS.

Step 2: Add a CC Attack Protection Rule

1. In the upper left corner of the list, click Add Rule
2. Specify related parameters. 
3. To modify or delete a CC attack protection rule, click Modify or Delete in the target row.

Select the charging mode.
